Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms apply to the Juicy History app, made by Zhin Goran, a sole trader based in the Netherlands. By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Subscriptions
- Juicy History requires a subscription, except for one free story you choose during onboarding.
- We offer a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial and a monthly subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings, under your name and Subscriptions. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
The content
Our stories are based on historical sources, but they are told in a light, entertaining and sometimes exaggerated gossip style. They are meant for entertainment and general education, not as academic or professional advice. Some stories describe real historical violence and contain casual language.
All stories, illustrations, characters (including Kelly), audio and other content in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may watch and listen for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, download, record, redistribute, resell or publicly show the content without our written permission.
Using the app fairly
Please don't misuse the app: don't try to access content without a subscription, interfere with how it works, or send abusive messages through the support chat.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the app running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove stories and features over time. If we make important changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country.
